Chasseur d'Images

Founded in 1976 by Guy-Michel Cogné, the French magazine Chasseur d’Images has the highest circulation in Europe in the field of photography.
With a print run of 180,000 copies and two monthly editions (in standard and “pocket” size), it concerns every type of photographer, from the amateur to the professional, from the beginner to the expert, from those who prefer art, exhibitions and portfolios to those who enjoy learning techniques and need detailed tests on new products.
The Chasseur d’Image policy is strongly consumer-oriented. Our own lab is very well equipped to test both lenses and digital cameras, allowing us to publish comparative opinions on a wide range of products.  But our magazine is also filled with hands-on information concerning photographic and post-production techniques.
The monthly edition is backed up by a website (www.chassimage.com), which offers our readers an open discussion forum and a guide to secondhand equipment prices, kept up to date daily and used contractually by the high-end dealer’s group Images-Photo.
Every two months, Chasseur d’Images also publishes a new luxury magazine, Nat’Images, dedicated to nature and wildlife photography: our new baby looks healthy and flourishing, with a fine circulation of 70,000.
